Join local candidates in the State election to discuss important local transport issues, hosted by the City of Whitehorse.

Organised by the Metropolitan Transport Forum and hosted by the City of Whitehorse, the participants will discuss many local transport issues including:

• Minimising the traffic and parking impacts associated with the Big Build Projects, including the Mont Albert/Surrey Hills Level Crossing Removal, North East Link and the Suburban Rail Loop.

• Other local opportunities for improvement, including:

 > upgrade of the existing Box Hill Train Station and Bus Interchange,

 >  improvements to bus services, train and tram frequencies

 > investment in walking and cycling.

The panel of invited speakers includes:

Aiv Puglielli, Greens candidate for North-Eastern Metropolitan

Paul Hamer, MLA Box Hill

Nicole Ta-Ei Werner, Liberal candidate for Box Hill.

After short presentations there will be an opportunity for the audience to direct questions at the panel.

Accessible transport to the event: Accessible public transport to the venue is via the Box Hill Transport Hub. If traveling by car, you can pull up directly to the front door – gentle ramp to door no kerb ramp required. There are a limited number of disabled permit spots.
