Transport Forum Pascoe Vale (State Electorate)
Free public forum with local candidates in the November State Election about better transport across Berri-bek and beyond.

Discuss transport issues with major party candidates

Metropolitan Transport Forum presents, with Merri-bek City Council hosting, a community forum on transport issues in the State Electorate of Pascoe Vale and surrounding areas.

Discussion topics could include:
Upfield rail corridor
Accessible transport
Road safety
Active transport.

There will be a Q&A session with questions from the live audience.

Mayor Cr Nat Abboud will host the forum, which will provide a respectful and orderly setting for discussion with:
Anthony Cianflone, ALP MLA for Pascoe Vale
Angelica Panopoulos, Greens candidate for Pascoe Vale
Yasemin Shamsili, Victorian Socialists candidate for Pascoe Vale
Plus others TBC

Each speaker will outline their plans for better transport in Pascoe Vale and beyond. The event will be strictly chaired to give speakers equal time. Audience members will also be able to ask short questions and hear responses from the speakers.

The event will also be livestreamed and recorded, with access available later via the MTF website.

Merlynston Hall, 1 Novian Street, Coburg North, is in the heart of the Pascoe Vale electorate and can be reached by:

> Tram – 1.2km from tram 19 at North Coburg Terminus/Sydney Road

> Bus – 160m from bus route 534 at Merlynston Station/Lorensen Avenue

> Train – 230m from Merlynston Station on the Upfield line

MTF and Merri-bek aim to make all events accessible. Merlynston Hall has a wide entry door, step-free access to the hall, and bathroom facilities that include:

2 male toilets, including 1 ambulant toilet
1 unisex toilet (LH) and shower
