Victoria Walks and BusVic

This survey has been commissioned by Victoria Walks’ supporter Bus Association of Victoria to examine whether your journey could be safer and more convenient. We also want to hear your ideas for improving the walk to the bus stop.

If you’ve caught a bus recently then chances are you walked some or all of the way. Nearly every bus trip (96 per cent) involves some walking, whether it’s a long trek from home to the bus stop or a shorter stroll from a connecting train or tram stop.

If you’re a regular bus user or have recently caught a bus, we’d like to hear from you. If you normally catch the bus but haven’t much during the Covid-19 pandemic, we’d still love you to take our survey!

Click here to take the survey before 11 April.

This survey has been commissioned by Victoria Walks’ supporter Bus Association of Victoria to examine whether your journey could be safer and more convenient. We also want to hear your ideas for improving the walk to the bus stop.

The results of the survey will be included in our report to BusVic about bus stop accessibility and used to advocate for improved access to Victorian bus services.

This survey takes about 10 minutes to complete, depending on your answers. All responses are anonymous.

The survey closes on the evening of Sunday 11th April 2021, giving you one month to get those responses in!

Thanks very much for helping in our mission to get more people walking more every day!

P.S. We’d also appreciate it if you can share this link with any of your family, friends and workmates who have caught a bus recently -> http://bit.ly/vwbussurvey

P.P.S. In case you’re curious, the median distance people walk from their home to a bus stop (in Melbourne at least) is 390 metres.

If you’re a regular bus user or have recently caught a bus, Victoria Walks would like to hear from you.
